What We Teach

We employ over 45 professional and university trained Music Teachers who all hold Bachelor, Masters or Doctorate degrees in Music, Pedagogy and/or early childhood development.

Our teachers have years of experience teaching Piano, Keyboard, Violin, Cello, Guitar, Voice, Choir and Music Theory to students of all ages and levels. With many different cultural backgrounds and teaching styles, Opus 1 music teachers provide the best choice for students with different needs and goals.

Our two kids started playing their instrument at Opus 1 several years ago. They love it, and we are happy they enjoy making music. The teachers are fantastic. There are several recitals every year, which I love attending - it's a real treat!

Some music schools close down for the summer, but we’re open all year long. We only close for major national holidays.

Comprehensive Exam Prep

While most schools in the area only offer preparation for the CM exam, we offer CM, RCM and ABRSM exam preparation as well as enrollment.
